It's a Small Thing, But...

Here at The Chicago Podcast, we will never count on anonymous social media comments to canvass the public. We will get off our butts and approach real people in the real world to request old-fashioned street interviews. It makes a difference. Ethan from Itasca is going to have an authentic reaction that @glizzybone1995 will not. Annie from Hyde Park will share in a way that @sandycheeksstan cannot possibly replicate online. Of course, Ethan or Annie's sentiments on a given subject may not align with the majority. However, through face-to-face interviews, we can assess two things. First, the opinion giver is human and reasonable. Secondly, given that most interviews will be conducted close to the Loop, the opinion giver will be local or at least visiting here. It still won't be perfect, but it's a start.
